Craft Project - Jack O'Lantern Floral Arrangement by Wen Zientek-Sico This simple floral arrangement has become a new favorite for fall because of the bright colors and visual impact. It is inexpensive to make and offers a lot of Halloween decorating oomph without being gory or scary, which is great for the smaller kids. We used fall floral bushes that were on sale at our local craft store for our arrangement, but any fall flowers work well. For a spookier arrangement, use black flowers - or spray paint old flowers black - and arrange them alone or with orange flowers. This bowl also makes a great vase for fresh or dried flowers.

Jack O'Lantern Floral Arrangement



Newspaper

10 inch rose or ivy bowl

Orange acrylic paint

Large paint brush

Pencil

Black acrylic paint

Small paint brush

1 large bunch fall silk flowers or 2 small bunches

Cover your work surface with newspaper. Paint the outside of the ivy bowl orange and let dry thoroughly. Once the paint is dry, draw on your jack o'lantern face with the pencil. Paint on the face with the black paint and let dry thoroughly. Add the silk flowers and arrange to fill the bowl, cutting the stems if needed.
