These cute grilled ham and cheese sandwiches are the perfect solution for quick lunches during this special time of year. Don't be limited to these adorable pink bunnies though, egg or cross-shaped cookie cutters also make great Easter themed sandwiches that your children will adore. The bread cut outs can be used for another project or cooked with the sandwich as shown in the photo.
Non-stick cooking spray 2 slices white bread 1 slice cheese 2 slices cooked ham luncheon meat
Heat a small heavy skillet over medium high heat and grease generously with the non-stick cooking spray. Using a medium sized bunny shaped cookie cutter, cut a bunny out from one of the slices of bread and set the cut pieces aside. Place the cheese on the uncut slice of bread and top with the ham. Top with the cut slice of bread. Place the sandwich in the frying pan, bunny side up and cook for 3-4 minutes or until golden brown. Flip over carefully and cook on the other side for an additional three minutes. Place carefully on a plate and serve hot.
Makes 1 sandwich.
