This is my favorite recipe for homemade foaming bath oil. It is simple and inexpensive to make, but it makes for a wonderfully relaxing bath experience. The oil foams and works just like the commercial products, and makes a great gift.

2 cups light vegetable oil or other carrier oil

1 cup clear fragrance free liquid soap

1 cup glycerin

10 drops chamomile essential oil

5 drops lavender essential oil

Glass bottle with lid

In a medium bowl mix together the vegetable oil, soap, glycerin, and essential oils. Pour through a funnel into the glass bottle. Shake well before using.
