Craft Project - Gone Fishin' Hat by Sloan Adams Is your Dad or Grandpa a fisherman? If so, they will love this cute hat made with fishing tackle and other "fishy" stuff.

Gone Fishin' Hat

Baseball cap or other soft fabric hat

Fabric paint

Fishing line

Sewing needle

Scissors

Fishing lures (with hooks removed by an adult)

Spinners

Bobbers

Plastic Worms

Plastic Fish

Cover your work surface with newspaper. Choose a fabric paint in a contrasting color to your hat so your lettering will show up well. Write in the center front of the hat "Gone Fishin'". Let the paint dry. Using the fishing line and needle, sew on the lures, spinners, bobbers, worms, and fish. Attach them all over the hat, and let them dangle down from the sides and the brim of the hat. Make sure to firmly tie off the knots to hold the fishing stuff onto the hat.
