Compile some famous quotes into a homemade book and it will soon become one of his favorite gifts ever!

Father's Day Quote Book

A great project for Father's Day, this mini-book is filled with quotes that you choose especially for your father, grandfather, uncle, or other special "dad". We made a sports themed book filled with sports quotes, but you can vary this idea and use your Dad's favorite things. Other ideas for shapes include a hammer, a fish, a baseball, a golf bag, a car, a computer, or an airplane. Just make sure it is something that your Dad likes.

Colored or printed paper

Pencil

Scissors

White paper

Hole punch

Yarn

Markers

Draw the shape you have chosen for the book on the colored or printed paper. For a football like we made, draw an elongated oval. Cut the shape out of the paper. Trace the original shape onto the white paper. Cut out the shape. Repeat to make as many shapes as you need to hold all of your quotes. Punch one or two holes into the shapes and thread the yarn through the hole. Tie the thread into the knot to make your book. Using the markers, write your quotes onto the pages of the book.
